A customer service rep. from one stop motors contacted me on 6-28-05 and gave me a great sales pitch on how they have corporate level affiliation with major online advertisers like e-bay and yahoo.
They claim that they make their money on the financing of the vehicle. I was going to set up an ad with them. I gave them my credit card info, and I was supposed to send them pictures of my 2005 Custom Chopper Motorcycle and sign a contract with them.
A couple days later I found somebody interested in purchasing my motorcycle so I didn't send them any pictures and I never filled out or signed a contract. I sold my motorcycle on 7-13-05.
I noticed that my credit card had been charged and I contacted one stop motors to find out why and that I wanted it credited back to my card. They refused to do so. I reminded them that the $299.00 was to cover the advertising and we never set anything up.
They declined my request. One stop motors said that they had taken their time to get it started and that I would have to meet six requirements in order to be entitled to a refund. I met my requirements and got no response.
