Arcadia Transouth Citifinancial Auto One ripoff

Can someone please help me understand this screwed up company? I have had terrible financial problems and not been able to pay their high interest rate and payments on time. My husband had a heart operation and has not been able to work and I am currently working part time trying to get permanent. Well they call and harrass me all hours of the night and on sundays! This is terrible business. I had been making small payments for august and I got a call Sept. 30 saying they were closing the end of the month and needed my payment that day or they could not hold my account. Meaning that they were going to come and repossess my car in their words. I went and over nighted the payment to them friday which was the 30th after receiving a letter stating to send the back amount owed and that they would help me out.

So I called to let them know what I had done and followed the letter it did not say I couldn't mail it in or that I had to do it over the phone. The man was so rude to me and said what color is the car and where do you live like he was sending someone right out to reposess it. Even after I had assured him I sent the payment in and that they would receive it the next day. He said when can you make the next payment I said probably friday as it was due on the first. He said sorry I cannot hold your account. I asked him what does this mean and he didn't say repossess but that is what he was saying. My nerves are so shot with this company and I only have this car for my means of transportation. Can anyone tell me if they have been in same situation and what I should expect?
