Ripoff, cheap product, lemon

I recently have been paying for a car from cal cars in florence, ky. I have a one year old son and I'm pregnant. I was driving the car and it accelerated by itself. I almost got into a horrible wreck.

Every time I stop the car dies when I told them what was going on cal cars said go get an estimate done. If it's over $1000 worth of damage we will put you in a new car. We did and the estimate was $1600. They decided ok our finance company will fix the "major" problems with it for free.

So we agreed. It's been 2 weeks since I dropped the car off they said it would take 2 days to fix. But now we called again and they say it isn't going to be fixable! Shouldn't I get put into a different car? Please let me know if I'm wrong.
