Cars & Transport

Purchased a 2005 Mazda 6 on 9/9/05. Turned in a nice 2001 Mazda Tribute. I really loved my Tribute. I was very hesitant on turning it in. My lease was almost up and I wasn't sure if I wanted to buy the car or take advantage of the end of year offers and get the Mazda 6 (a new car). I was told the car would cost me much less in insurance. Not the case. It costs much more. These cars cost a lot to insure. More than an SUV. I asked the salesman if I could take a loss and just bring the car back and buy my car from them that I turned in. I know it sounds crazy. Long story short. The salesman said he would do it for me if my car hadn't already funded. Well, come to find out my car hadn't funded because the dealership screwed up on the tax rate and needed me to come back in to resign the contract. The bank told me they have not funded it and that it can't be funded until I resign. Basically, they all lie. The salesman pretend to have compassion but they don't care. I had a crisis during the week since I purchased the car and realized I would not be able to afford it and that was why I pleaded with them to help me out. It has not a scratch on it. I wasn't asking them to take the car back without my buying something else. I wanted to buy my car back knowing I would end up buying it for more than I owed. Quite a big lesson to learn on top of a serious crisis.
