Sims Buick GMC Truck
Sells extended misleading warrantees that are not honored by their company

Sims Buick sold us a Chevrolet S-10 Pickup Truck and sold us an extended warrantee that they mislead us into believing that would pay for all costs to repair the truck. They said the truck would be covered "bumper to bumper" and that there would be "NO OUT OF POCKET EXPENSES".

We purchased this warrantee for $1200.00.
We had to have some repair work done on the vehicle and the warrantee company authorized all repair work on the truck. We were then told by the repair center that we had to pay all expenses up front and then they (warrantee company) would reimburse us for all expenses.

This is not what was promised and advertised by SIMS BUICK. We ended up having to pay out of pocket to obtain our truck. We actually have to use the truck to go to work. SIMS sold us a warrantee that is absolutely worthless.

We waited for the reimbursement of the repair and when it never came we contacted the warrantee company. We were then informed that the warrantee company is filing bankrupcy.in order to get the money back we have spent we have to file with the bankrupcy court and get in line with all their other creditors.

We then contacted the Ohio Attorney General and found out that he (the Attorney General) filed a lawsuit against the warrantee company because they have a LONG HISTORY of this type of business practice. SIMS Buick had no business selling us a policy that they would not personally guarantee. They should stand behind what they sell.

We contacted SIMS several times and through several different ways to try and correct this injustice to us but their idea of a LOUSY correction would be to SELL US another Warrantee that they will NOT personally guarantee.

This is no idea of a good solution for us. We are making sure all of our friends, family and and anyone looking for a vehicle knows how we were treated. Many people have shopped and bought elsewhere.
