Ripoff - thieves and scam artisits to the nth degree!

My husband and I approached Mr. Pastore about the possibility of trading in our 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee in exchange for the purchase and financing of 1 2001 Toyota RAV4 and a 1998 Lincoln Continental (both used). On 8/10/05 we met at the Baron's office on rte 112 in Medford, and signed the contracts to purchase the 2 vehiclesfor approx 22,800.

We put $1,500 down at that time. We confirmed MULTIPLE TIMES that BOTH vehicles were included in the listed price, plus the trade in of the Jeep, etc. That night, we were told the Lincoln was not ready to take home, as it was having a few minor adjustments. We did take possession of the RAV 4, and Mr. Pastore said we would be able to drop off the jeep and pick up the lincoln the next day. The next day we called, and the car was "still not ready". That Friday both Mr. Pastore and the finance manager we had dealt with were unavailable, but we were told my husband could pick up the lincoln on monday, 8/15.

On Monday, Mr. Pastore informed my husband that the price agreed upon did NOT include the Lincoln. My husband stated we would then RETURN the RAV 4, and dissolve the contract, as the "deal" was to work the price of the 2 vehicles, adn Mr. Pastore was told REPEATEDLY that we would not accept just the one - if no arrangement could be made, we would go elsewhere. Mr. Pastore asked for one more day to "try and fix it" and has been avoiding us since. I spoke with the sales manager "KEnny" on 8/16/05 and explained the above. He tried to sell me another car, not understanding that we had entered into an agreement for two cars ALREADY.

He is supposed to get back to me today, but I am concerned and unsure of how to proceed to rectify this matter UPDATE - 8/20/05 - Barons now informs us that they will NOT accept the car back, and will not stand behind the promises of their saleman!!! (although they would love to sell us ANOTHER CAR FOR MORE MONEY)
