Florida rippoff disabled woman. Taken advantage of and ripped off by used car salesman

In February Mrs. Linnan purchased a 90' chevy caviler from the above mentioned used car dealer and from the salesman Pete who later quit because of this. They would not let her test drive the car off the lot and she was told that the car was a sound car and had lots of new parts.

They sold her the car for $750.00 that's not too bad since the car has a book value of $200.00. I guess Pete go a nice commision of that one, way to go Pete.

Well she gave them $500.00 down 50.00 ttt. She was to pay the balance of $495.00 in payments, when she got the car on the road she noticed that something was very wrong with the frontend and could not get the car over 35 mph.

When she contacted the dealer they gave her the run around and refused to offer any help. I guess that she called so much they took $ 150.00 today and wrote final payment on it...

I guess they sold that pinto to that 90 year old man for 10,000 today as well. She also had the car looked at by a cert. Auto tech at the Tire Kindom and the repairs that the car needed was over $800.00.

I will call the owner and run this by him and see if he was aware of this type of scam taking place at his dealership. If his is not aware I will ask that he give a full refund to her or offer the car to be repaired. Afterall im sure that the company would wanna do the right thing. I will update this post... Don't judge until I talk to the owner.
