Ripoff Jimmy, Inflated quotes, Poor Service, Need GAP Insurance, Never fixed the Problem, Install faulty parts

I own a 2001 Jimmy... I bought it used about 2 years ago for about 14,000 dollars. I still owe 10G and my car is worth about 6-8G's... This is my problems with my dealership. I have had so many repairs on this car that my wallet is starting to look pretty skinny. Just recently I have been having a hard clicking sound and a horrible vibration. My dealer said my U-joints where broken and needed replaced... Quoted me at 476$ for just the U-joints. I thought this was pretty high priced for a part that costs about 50 dollars. So i took it to another mechanic. This mechanic told me yes my u-joints where going bad, but my horrible vibration was because one of my driveshaft weights fell off. This was easily spotted by even me when he brought me under the car. I had this quoted for not only the u-joint but to have it sent in to get the shaft rewieghted... And you guessed it... A total of 300$. That is 200 less than the dealer said.

ANYWAY, let me present some problems i have been having over the 2 years. Check engine light on, dealer sopposedly fixed it for 400$, when i got on the road the light came back on, I went back and delt with sneering questioning service men. Proof is the light is on but they looked at it and said i needed some fuse... That costed another 300 (... Just to turn the service light off... Here is a list of other repairs. Clean fuel injectors 75$, Gas gauge not working replaced fuel sensor 260$, replaced rubber stripping on windows, Replaced wave washers for thunping noise 120$, Replaced right front bub bearing 610$, replace air pump and molding 150$, service engine soon light for first time they goodwilled this one... Door bushing loose and door falling off 125$, Power mirror moter replaced 107$, Brake pads and rotors needed replaced after i told them to check them 1 month earlier, they said they where full of life 329$ Emergency brake does not work anymore due to "use and wear" i have only used it like 2 times so tell me thats use and wear!!! Service engine soon vent valve replaced 239$, SES light yet again secondary air pump failure and air pump fuse blown and new diverter valve 186$ ANYWAY this is over 2000 bucks not including the drivetrain problem i have recently become aware of... I will update if my whole back end needs replaced... Beware when buying from this dealership... I am now investing in a ford i hear they have much better service.
