Cars & Transport

Avoid them like a plague.

I needed a new rear tire and perhaps a tune up. I called them on Saturday and he said over the phone they had both front and rear tires in stockand they are around $90 each. They also tell me that tune up is $175 everything included. I ride for half and hour on the free way to get there. Have to wait for 20 minutes before somebodyanswers me.

Leon Bellissimo ("manager") finally tells me that the full tune up is $225 everything included. A dealer much closer to where I live offers full tune up with valve adjustment for that price. I check with the parts department they tell me they have both tires in stock, the front is $119 an the rear is $198. He also tells me that they charge $70 per tire. At that point I get upset that they had dragged me down to place by giving me a completely wrong prices.

I start to leave, when this mechanic (Oscar) come and tries to stop me and say, I give you a good deal, I will change the tires for $35 each. At that point, I have spent so much time that I don't want to go to another dealer. I say OK, I come back 2 hours later when they call me and tell me that I need to change everything (vales, tappets, break pads, etc.) I say do not touch it any more. When I come back I realize they have put the wrong tire on the rear tire, I ask them to put the old tire back on. THEN IN FRONT OF MY OWN EYES THEY USE THE WRONG TOOL AND DAMAGE MY REAR WHEEL SCRATCHING IT ALL OVER.

They put the bike back together and give me this bill for $500 for the so-called tune-up, changing the front tire and damaging my rear wheel. It is close to 5pm and Leon has already left. I refuse to pay and leave my bike there as I need to talk to Leon. I call back and Tuesday and Wednesday but the office manager keep putting me on hold for extended periods of time and then tells me he is not there and that she has no way of contacting him! I had to go there twice (1hour round trip each time). The first time I noticed that have put greese on the scratches they cause to the rear wheel and claim that they have been there for e long time. There is a WHOLE lot more but like another person giving feedback on these guys, my blood pressure goes up talking about this. Eventually they tried to indimidate me both physically and verbally.

Now, the long story short, these guys told me nothing but lies (and they told me a lot of things). For example, when I asked them whether they have test driven the bike Juan said yes, but when I showed him the millage I had taken down before giving it to them (which was exactly the same as its current millage) he changed his story to "I said we are going to test ride it". These guys are a bunch of lying con men and know NOTHING about bikes. I watched them work on some other bikes and now I am really affraid of riding my own bike, knowing these guys have touched it.

In short, if you value your, time, money, dignity, physical and mental health do not step into this store no matter what the promise you. They will not keep any promise and they will lie anyway they can to get out of it.
