Misrepresentation, dishonest, illegal, sleazy and nasty

Americredit repossessed vehicle after PROMISING it would investigate and 'monitor' problematic account (Randy Sullivan); was faxed proofs of payments it did not acknowledge. Sent warning notices to wrong address, and spoke with third parties claiming car was being hidden when it was parked in front of current residence. Also spent CONSIDERABLE effort attempting to contact deceased relatives at incorrect addresses.

Stated that it had previously received a DO NOT CALL letter when none was issued, and it was specifically instructed to remove this from my account file in February when I became aware of it, and it also has TWO email addresses. Thus claims it was unable to call me, although a threatening call was left on answering machine 3 years prior.

It then, pursuant to Illinois law issued Right to Redeem or Reinstate Notices, executed incorrectly with the incorrect date of repossession, rending it (in MY opinion) defective. Its legal staff refused to return calls and emails in a timely manner, resulting in considerable lost time, but increasing costs and interest to its advantage.individual (Ed Baker) at its call center who was subsequently contacted stated SPECIFICALLY that it did not have to offer reinstatement or redemption, that it did so as a courtesy, and that there are 'hidden' laws that enabled it NOT to do so. No response to inquiries from it call centers of legal departments.

Americredit then demanded THREE different monetary amounts with different time deadlines, and took two days after NUMEROUS inquiries to clarify. Staff is uncooperative and rude. It made numerous errors in the repo process and will not acknowledge them or accounting and record keeping errors.
