Ripoff, poor/rude customer service, practically have to beg for service

I hired AAA Advantage to move my car from Ohio to Colorado last july. I paid in full, $700, and they said they'd pick it up and have it there in 7-14 days (14 at the longest). They said they'd pick it up within a week of the 'available date'... The date came and went, as did the week surrounding it, and my car was still sitting on the street.

I tried to use their 'online chat' function to get service, but the person on the other end of that took about 20 minutes between responses. I tried calling several times, no one who answered could ever help, and usually put me on hold for bloody forever and when someone DID pick up, they told me they knew nothing, a truck hadn't been assigned, and a bunch of other b.S...

So, I fly out to Colorado, a week and a half goes by, I still have no car, and am riding the bus all around town and walking everywhere, carrying quilts and pillows down the street from the store to my place to furnish it. Finally I just had a friend drive the car out to me, putting the miles on it that I wanted to avoid.

Getting the money back was a nightmare. They left me in limbo for weeks, telling me that I 'might be subject to a $200 cancellation fee'. Finally, almost a month later, they credited me the full amount, which is good for them, B/C had they charged me a fee I would have sued them up one side and down the other. I agree with another poster on this site who says they should ABSOLUTELY be shut down and sued. That was THE WORST consumer experience of my life. Please DO NOT hire them, they are a MASSIVE rip-off.
