Mavis Discount Tires
Misquote pricing

Called and was quoted a price for a tire. Went to Mavis in Selden NY. At shop told was given wrong price and they don't have any tire to fit. Amazingly told they will help me and found a tire at a lower price. At time to pay price was $100 more than told. Upon looking at receipt I noticed I was charged twice for mounting and balancing. The salesman opened the register and handed me $25, not the full amount that would have included tax. Nor was I asked to place the return on my credit card.
