Rush Flower Order Never Delivered and Florist Unreachable

I ordered flowers at 8:30am on Saturday January 11th with the expedited delivery service, so the flowers were to arrive no later than 12:30 to my fiancée's work. I called FromYouFlowers several times between 1pm and 6pm since I never received the delivery confirmation email. In doing so, FromYouFlowers claimed to have called the local florist several times, left several messages, and put a RUSH on the order since it was already late, but never got a hold of anyone at the florist, nor did the florist ever call FromYouFlowers back.

How a rushed order placed at 8:30am with a 4 hour window could not only miss the 12:30 deadline but just not be delivered at all is beyond me. The customer service has been polite to this point, but I can never get that moment back to give my fiancée the gift that would have turned her day around and put a huge smile on her face and tears in her eyes.

I now see this company has a reputation of late and non deliveries. Fortunately, it appears they will refund you your money, but the moment in time to give someone special a gift at a special time is priceless and forever lost. Please proceed with caution when placing orders through FromYouFlowers.com. I should have done my research before hiring this company, as I could have just as easily gone to a local florist myself and then dropped off the flowers at my fiancée's work.
