Cost 2-1/2 times on-line quoted price

The on-line quoted price for 8-day rental of mid-size car was $187. When we arrived at Reno/Tahoe desk the total price, even after we reduced the car size, was $477.36. A web-site line in the "Terms and Conditions" stating that taxes and other charges may apply is not sufficient for a final cost that is 2-1/2 times the expected cost! They had us over a barrel so all we could do was submit. Be sure to return the car with the gas tank absolutely full. They charged us $54.34 plus $11 tax for the 4 gallons of gas required to fill the Chevy Cruze tank that was at the 3/4 mark. We will never use Budget again.
