Brake Check
Upped the price without consent, kept car a week! Still no brakes, no invoice and broken transmission. Rip-off!

Here it is in a nutshell

Kept my car for 3 days and then delivered to my home with brakes dragging. Then drove back to shop with brakes still dragging. Wheels very very hot!

Kept my car for 2 more days then didnt have invoice ready at pick up and when i left shop had very very weak brakes. They closed that shop the day i picked up my car

Then they picked my car up and DROVE it to a different shop with very very weak brakes. Delivered it the next day but would not go into first gear without shutting motor off first.

Took to transmission shop where diagnosed as broken first gear from downshifting into first to slow car

Car had 41 miles put on it while they had it and i didnt drive it but 3 miles (documented) cost me $980.00 to put a junk yard tranny in and still dont have brakes that will pass a texas inspection.

I have contacted every swinging d@#k in this company including john peveto III and have gotten nothing but a demand letter for the cost of the brakes. They expect me to pay them 537.46 for this brake job that i never approved without giving me an invoice.

It has been a month and i still havent seen an invoice of the work and parts nor do i have brakes that will pass an inspection.

I did get a letter demanding i pay them though. What a bunch of rip offs. When they say they do it right they arent talking about fixing brakes. 3 attempts and a broken transmission and 41 miles put on my car and i still cant drive it.
