Inc. Rip-off! Consumers beware of this unscrupulous used car dealer

Written and oral agreement with deposit to purchase a 2000 VW Passat with 72168K on 12/4/04. Salesman assured that their fine mechanics went over the car and inspected it to ensure safety for our 16 year old daughter. Paid dealer cash and picked up car 12/10/04.

Later that evening found a large garbage bag full of "rank" trash in trunk and noticed odometer had 72584K. 400 mls put on since day of our agreement. Dealers wife's name on a receipt found in car - must have had quite an excusion and party in my car! Called them to inform and they offered 1st oil change and tire rotation free. OK fine, I can live with this.

Several days later, my husband decided to show our daughter how to check oil and found it to be total black mud and down 1 quart. Brought car to our mechanic who said car unsafe and should not have been inspected secondary to bad tie rod.

Brought bill to dealer who refused to pay any amount because work done elsewhere and said "please look at the agreement you signed, etc." Don't go to Automart, Portland, and forget their service cente
