Wynn's Extended Care
Rip-off!

My 2001 Chevorlet Impala was purchased from a used car lot with an extended warranty as well. I have had no problems during the 6 months that I had the car until now. I have maintained the basic up keep the vehicle which include professional oil changes, brake work, and basic diagnostic checks as well. The car's thermostat gauge decided to stop working properly so I took the car to Bill Heard Chevorlet which is one of the major chevy dealerships in Memphis, TN. Mind you Wynn's told me that the thermostat was covered so I thought problem solved wrong!

The mechanic's still continued to have problems with the car and found a leak in the intake gasket so they called Wynn's and they said that they would send an inspector out to investigate. They did so and as a result of the leak it caused some engine damage. The ispector said that it was my fault because I let the engine over heat. Keep in mind I came in for a faulty thermostat which they covered. So if the the thermstat was busted there was no way for me to know that it had over heated and there was also no smoke or noises. Beleive me as paranoyed as I am about that car I would have pulled over at the first sign of smoke, but nothing of the sort occured. Now I will be out of the cost of a new engine if they dont pay, which for a 2001 that could cost $7000 new.

I have read others complaints and its really pitiful how this company handles there business. This is a hell of a christmas gift because I dont have the thousands of dollars to get my car out of the shop. Bill Heard feels this shoud be there responsibility and so do I. Im also sure an attorney will see it our way too. Good look to others in situations like mine.
