Dirty, Lying, foreign ripoff Scum Bag

I went to the Arco am/pm gas station on the night of December 15 at 9pm for $10 worth of gas. Since I needed bottled water, I paid $1.09 for it and told the clerk $10 on #1 while I was inside. When I tried to use pump #1, it wouldn't work. I replaced the nozzle and picked it up, pressed the start button repeatedly and and it still wouldn't work.

I kept pressing the blue button that reads "Press intercom for assistance" and neither of the TWO clerks bothered to respond. I then walked into the store and said "Obviously there's a problem with pump #1 I want #3 instead." I then walked back out to my car, moved up to pump #3 and that pump wouldn't work either! Just as before, the clerks refused to respond to the intercom button. When I went into the store for the 3rd time, I waited in line and told the clerk that I wanted a refund. "There's nothing on pump #1." the idiot said. "I KNOW there's nothing on pump #1. It wouldn't work so I asked for pump#3."

Then the a$hole denied "There's nothing on number 3. Are you sure you gave us money?" I replied "You KNOW damn well I gave you $10 for gas when I came in and bought water! I want my refund!" Then he said, "Why are you being so..." I replied, "I'm not being so anything! You're the one that's being an idiot by refusing to give me my refund!" He continued to be an a$hole so I said "Fine! I'll call the police on you!" Then he got sarcastic and said "Call whoever." I warned other customers about the filthy clerks during the 90 minute wait for the cops. When the police arrived, I gave them my side of the story and asked them if they could view the video tape clearly showing me paying for gas and not getting anything out. After they spoke with the clerk and saw that my gas gage was still on empty, the cops knew I wasn't lying but said that its more of a civil matter now. They also stated that the clerk now claimed that I had pumped my gas!!! To help me out, they filed a police report and suggested I take them to small claims and make them pay me for the court fees. I also spoke with a newsteam that said this happens all the time at gas stations but they're willing to help me get my money back.

A gas station must really be severely desperate for money to go ripping customers off for $10.00! Hopefully that station winds up being shut down. From the clerk's attitude alone, its obvious he's been practicing ripping people off for a long time.
