I discussed a given truck at length with the sales people for over four days. This was supposed to be a new truck with 106 miles on it. This was the number that was listed on autotrader, represented by its sales staff and sales management. It came out that the car had been in a car show when I pressed about the mileage. They even told my bank that the mileage was 106 miles. I got the loan set up, loaded up my wife, two kids and two dogs in our minivan and proceeded to drive 175 miles on good faith to buy this truck. I get there and am inspecting the truck and all looks good. I open the door and see that the paint from the door interior rail is worn off. This raised concerns. I said, that is odd for a truck with only 100 miles on it. At this time they say, it has 469 miles on it! Really! Might not seem like much, but when you drive 175 miles to pay $53,000 for a NEW TRUCK it is a lot of miles. Now I sit down with the GM of the dealership and he discloses that the truck might have been used in a couple of parades! He then says that the going rate is 31 cents a mile and that he would round up to $250 dollars off! I had lost all trust in these buffoons at this point and realized I had no idea what was up with this truck and that I had been lied to for 4 days and been ripped off a new years eve with my family. I would drive 200 miles and spend more not to do business with these folks. Very untrustworthy! The GM actually said that a car could have 5900 miles on it and still be new! Nice job! Stay away from these folks, they are poison!
