Richard D Di Cicco
Di Cicco's Fresno CA

Cafes, Bars, Restaurants

My wife, & I, have been a patron of

Di Cicco, at several different locations
in Fresno CA, over many years. We've

Never really had any complaints, but
I have just a minor one now.

After church this afternoon, we went to

The Di Cicco's on Kings Canyon, off
of Clovis (5635 E. Kings Canyon). My
NORMAL meal is spagetti, with MEAT

Sauce, 2 meatballs, sausage, & il Forno.

I told the waitress that the prior 2
visits I had the same dish, and that

The sauce was nothing but a watery
tomato sauce, with no MEAT in it at
all. I told her that I wanted to make

Sure that there was MEAT, in the MEAT
SAUCE advertised, & she said that she
would speak to the chef.

When our meals arrived at our table,
I uncovered an area of cheese, and
sure enough, the sauce was the same as before.

I called the waitress back and showed her and she said that the MEAT was VERY
chopped up. I asked her if she could see
any MEAT. I asked if it was pured. She
just said that it was very finely ground
so could not be seen.

My wife's, & my meal, was $33 plus tip,
and this is normal. I don't want to
"kill the messenger" but we are loyal
long term patrons and don't deserve to
be lied too. "If you advertise MEAT
SAUCE, have meat that can be SEEN.

We enjoy your restaurant and will
continue eating there, but hope that
this matter will be addressed.
