Water refused, corporate vm full

Since I was in a hurry this morning, I pulled into the BK drive through for coffee and an egg and cheese croissant. I also asked for a cup of water, as I was in the hospital last week with dehydration and was told to drink more water, and esp. With coffee. When I got to the window, the drive through attendant didn't speak English, so I asked for a manager. Omar, the manager appeared so I asked again for a water. He told me no, that they only had bottled water. I asked again, could he please just get me a small cup of water, at which time he became very rude and said it is not BK policy. WOW!!! I find this impossible to believe as all soda machines have a water nozzle.
And, I am certain that BK has the capabiliy to provide water to paying customers. I am not one to stay mad, but my recent hospitalisation kept this fresh in my mind for longer than usual, so when I returned home I called the consumer complaint line, which was another joke on BK customers. After 20 minutes of automated hold, I was told I could leave a vm and someone would return my call, and then was transfered to a mailbox which was full. After having invested so much time, I did not want to hang up, do I managed to get directed back to the operator, whose vm box was also full. I have no respect whatsoever for any restaurant that will refuse water to a paying customer, and I will continue to blog about this until I get an apology.
