Applebee's
Great service - Best Server Ever!

Myself and my son Iisac don't come to Applebee's all that often and we haven't been in in a while. So I was surprised and VERY pleased when I realized we had the same waitress as our last visit (Kristie). She is very friendly and very helpful. I couldn't decide what I wanted to order and she suggested the steak sandwhich. I liked the way she described it, it came out fast and tated great. Also, my son is Autistic, so it's difficult to get him to talk with people he doesn't know well. On our last visit Kristie knelt down to Iisac level throughout our meal. She asked him what he wanted to eat and drink but wasn't having any luck getting him to talk to her. He started to get a little uncomfortable after a while. Kristie turned away from him some and addressed her attention torwards me. She said how she brings in stickers for the kids, went down a list of all the different sticker she had and that ALL the kids get to pick a few. She spread them out on the table and said she'd be back in a minute. She knelt down to ask Iisac what stickers he had chosen. Something so simple, that's all it took to get my son to feel comfortable. When we came in tonight Iisac gave Kristie his WHOLE order and even told her about school.

It's hard to find places to go where Iisac feels comfortable and not overwhelmed. I think we will be visiting Applebees more often now because of our last two experiences.
