Pirate's Dinner Adventure Orlando
When is shrimp not really shrimp?

Cafes, Bars, Restaurants

We were on vacation in Orlando and the kids wanted to go to the Pirate Dinner Adventure, a dinner theater. The show was great though not worth the $200 we paid for two adults and two kids. The real problem arose with the food. We were offered a chicken and shrimp combo meal which sounded great. The chicken was dry and flavorless and the shrimp was real fishy and odd tasting. It was dark and the show was exciting so I was not thinking about the shrimp but it just did not taste right. After I finished my shrimp my wife nudged me and said "this is not real shrimp. It's that surimi cod imitation heavily soaked in MSG to mask the fact. Well, I had Blackbeard's revenge all night and half the next day running to the bathroom which really ruined our vacation! You would think for $58 a plate they could afford real shrimp especially in Florida!

If you want to attend this dinner theater make sure to go for the show, not the food and make sure to skip the "shrimp"!
