Pacific Seafood Grill - ripoff Dishonest scam artists that just don't give a crap

Please do not patronize the Grape Street Seafood Grill in San Diego CA. They are dishonest seafood scammers. I had the misfortune of dining there last night. I ordered the seared tuna. When the waiter brought my meal out, it was the grilled Alaskan halibut. The waiter apologized and indicated he would get the tuna out as quickly as possible. However, the halibut looked good, so I decided to have that instead of the tuna.

While dining on my halibut, the waiter came by with a crappy bottle of Chardonnay-Handley 2004 I believe. He indicated that the wine was compliments of the house for the screw-up on the meal. He asked me if I needed anything else, and I replied that I wanted 4 shots of Jim Beam. The waiter brought the 4 shots, and I consumed those in addition to the wine. I finished my halibut and requested the bill. The bill arrived, and I was shocked at what I saw. They had the nerve to charge me $37 for the halibut, and $32 for the Jim Beam.

I summoned my waiter over, and demanded to know why I was being charged for a meal I didn't order, but was nice enough to eat, saving them the effort of cooking a new meal and throwing the old one out. Furthermore, I explained that as far as the Jim Beam went, I assumed it was on the house like the wine. The waiter went and got the manager, who told me that the entire meal was on the house, but that I was no longer welcome in their establishment.

I guess they realize that I'm sharper than the average consumer and on to their scam. I'll never go back to that dump.
