Terrible Dining Experience Ripoff

On Saturday, January 14th, my husband and I called ahead to the restaurant, and arrived at the time we were told our table would be ready. After a few minutes, we were called to be seated and had to wait in one of the aisles for a couple of minutes, because they could not find us a table to be seated at. (Strike One)

We ordered a cactus onion and 2 beers. A few minutes later we were served our beers and were told the onion would be out shortly. We were also given a basket of rolls, which we ate because it took so long to get our onion and we were very hungry. When our onion finally arrived, we ordered our dinner. I got the 8 oz. Sirloin, and my husband ordered the killer ribs. We began eating our onion, and quickly ran out of dipping sauce. We asked our waiter to bring us some more sauce, which he never brought. (Strike Two)

Our dinner arrived shortly after we got our onion appetizer, and I was so full from the rolls and onion I had eaten, that I decided to take my steak home. The next day I had my steak, and it was horrible. It was as tough as shoe leather. (Strike Three) I would have complained about my steak when we were at the restaurant, but since I didn't eat any of it there, I didn't know how awful it was.

I e-mailed the restaurant and told them about my awful experience and was told they were very sorry, and wanted to send me a gift card, so that I could come back and give them a second chance to show me what a great place it was to eat at. To this day, I have never received a gift card, and have emailed them several more times asking about it, with NO response back from them at all.
