Ripoff Watch Out! Terrible service for an expensive restaurant

We went to Joyce's Ocean Grill on Valentines Day, on our way to another seafood restaurant we decided that we would stop at the new place. We chose to sit at the bar, even though they had general seating immediately available.

As we sit down a nice bottle of wine was ordered, then an appetizer and a main course. The wine was nice, but was never poured by anyone other myself, and we had to ask for water three times. After an approximate thirty minute wait our main course was brought from the kitchen to the bar tender to be served, he sent the main course back to the kitchen so that the appetizer could be brought to us. Just then my other half said that we should have just gone to the other restaurant. Next was the 20 minute wait for the appetizer to come out, while viewing our main course sitting under the heat lamp. When the appetizer finally arrived, they were not crab cakes, but some type of pancake that had some crab in it. Shortly after our appetizer arrived, our main course was pulled from the heat lamp area and was served to us. I flatly refused to eat a steak at a restaurant like this that was the quality of a buffet or a chow line and had been warmed over for almost 30 minutes. The manager came over and asked if there was any thing else that she could do, I very politely said no thanks because the steak had been over cooked and that we had seen it under the heat lamp, and the hour late was too long to wait again. The manager and staff left the steak in front of me, only offering to get the box so that I could take it home. We the bill was received they didn't even offer to remove the steak that was ordered but never ate, not one bite. We were charged the full $140.00 for dinner and wine. Politely the bill was paid, and we left the establishment.

This is a definite case of your mileage may vary, but we recommend that you be cautious when enter this establishment.
