Ripoff Extremely poor customer service

For my father's 81st birthday, we decided to try this restaurant. It was without a doubt the worst dining experience I've had in 20 years or more. The reservation was for 7:00, by 8:30 they finally started serving us. Orders were mixed up, and people at one side of the table were finishing eating by the time the people on the other side were being served.

It was a large group (14), and we were accused of moving around the table, which was why no one was able to get their correct order. That's a lie. The only movement was to remove an extra chair as we were packed in like sardines and had to make room for a high chair. It got to the point of almost a lottery - the waiter would hold up a plate, announce what was on it and wait for the person that ordered to raise their hand

The food was less than mediocre. One dinner had a toothpick embedded in the meat which my brother bit down on. When he notified the waiter, he was laughed at. My daughter was served the wrong plate 4 times.

When the bill came, it was totaled for the table, even though we had requested separate tickets. It was explained to us (after the fact) that for a group this size, that option is not possible, which is really just a pile of bull. They suggested that we just split the bill equally among everyone there and pay that way, which would have been good in my case, as my ticket contained 3 steaks, but bad for my sister-in-law who ordered a salad and two other people that ordered chicken. When we explained that this was not a solution and requested that everything be broken down, the servers and manager became extremely rude. When they finally figured out that the only way they would get their money was to break down the ticket, I got mine first, and when the rest were tallied, the server threw the tickets at me to hand out. When I signed the ticket for my charge, the ticket and a pen to sign were thrown at me.

We have taken my father out for years to different restaurants and NEVER EVER received this kind of attitude or service.

I can only rejoice in the fact that the tip reflected the service in this case.
