Let's Fork Tonight
Awesome Experience at Let's Fork Tonight! - Cooking Class

Cafes, Bars, Restaurants

I really hate it when a fellow customer tries to tarnish a great company's reputation. The previous review by Paula P. Could not be more erroneous and further from the truth! I took the same pasta class and it was worth every penny!!! In fact, the photo she posted is of the fenced off building adjacent to the commerce center that Let's Fork Tonight!'s Orlando retail space is in. This local business center also contains 150 other local businesses all of whom would be mortified if this customer posted such a fallacy about their business. I don't know what she is smoking, but the appetizer (Chef Michael's famous strawberry-basil crostini) is absolutely to die for! And, may I mention that not only is Chef Michael an amazing Chef, his fun approach to cooking is not intimidating in the least as he is extremely attentive to the needs of everyone in his class. When my wife and I and several other couples in our group arrived, Chef Michael greeted each and every one of us by name. He actually knew our names before we arrived! How is that for personalized attention to detail? I am not sure what she means by "dirty with empty boxes everywhere", you could literally eat off the floor of the spotless restroom and any empty boxes my wife and I ever saw were the ones that the evening's ingredients were once resting in prior to the class cooking them all up. Chef Michael informed the class that he recycles and reuses boxes to help save trees and paper waste. The quaint facility opened recently and has not fully completed it's decor renovation of the studio which is over 1000 square feet. But the place is indeed spotless. Chef Michael's pasta class is FANTASTIC as is the final meal when it all comes together. I admit that making fresh pasta is a process and the pasta class in particular does take some work. But, isn't that the point to a cooking class? You are paying to experience for yourself what the process is. Chef Michael made so much more enjoyable as each participant enjoyed what seemed to be never ending glasses of wine while we were cooking and again while we ate the fruits of our labor. See for yourself before you put any stock in Paula P.'s review. The company has a Facebook page (http://www.facebook.com/%u2026) with pictures of their facility, extremely happy customers tasting and creating their own meals, and they have rave reviews on the various deal sites on which they have been advertised. I cannot see how anyone could call this company a scam!!! Granted, you cannot please everyone 100% of the time, but I for one, who suffers with terrible OCD and is a complete germiphobe, participate in a class once per month and enjoy great company along with an incredible meal. I have recommended Let's Fork Tonight! To all of our friends and have even had Chef Michael cater several in-home classes and corporate dinner parties for me. Each has been an astounding success with stellar reviews! If such a place was as "dirty" as claimed, there is no way I could ever enter such a place. However, I assure you that it is one of the most sanitary environments. Perhaps Paula P. Should take a look at some of the kitchens of local restaurants in which she has eaten and I guarantee that the Let's Fork Tonight! Kitchen studio space is by far one of the best. This is NOT a restaurant, it is a recreational cooking class and a fantastic date night activity.
