I was eating at Applebees Slidell with my wife and kids today. When we received our food, most of it was okay but my 2 year olds chicken tenders were slightly raw in the middle. We weren't upset about it because we had plenty of extra fries to hold him over until the tenders were replaced so I asked the server to get them exchanged for me, she apologized and swiftly took care of the issue. After we were all done eating we decided to order desserts. I ordered a triple chocolate meltdown and a blue ribbon brownie. We were waiting a while for the desserts but didn't mind. When the desserts finally arrived, however, the meltdown was still frozen in the center and all the ice cream was melted so I asked the server to get it fixed for us. She apologized again and said she would get a manager to fix it for us. When the manager (Scott Viola) arrived, he was visibly agitated. He asked me very rudely what my problem was so I politely explained what happened with the chicken tenders and the desserts. When I finished talking he stared at me for a minute quietly, then said "... And?". This kind of irritated me so I asked him to just take the desserts off the bill and we were just going to go. He replied with "fine we don't want you here anyways" then he cleared his throat very loudly and his spit flew on my wifes plate. Then he turned to walk away and very loudly passed gas right in front of us. We normally eat there 2 or 3 times a week and have never had a problem like this before. We have always enjoyed Applebees before but I doubt we will ever eat there again because of this Scott fellow.
