Bad Service

I coordinated a birthday party on Saturday, March 2. Dinner was scheduled for 6pm for a party of 6 - 10 people. The manager on duty was Merari Veloz. When my party arrived, the restaurant was crowded. Ms. Veloz asked me how many people was I expecting. I informed her that here should be a party of 6 definitely. However, it's possible that a few more people may arrive. Our party was sat down to a table of 6. Unfortunately, 4 more people arrived. The manager wasn't able to accommodate my other guests. She stated that there would be a 2 hour wait. The manager was completely informed that other people may arrive. Unfortunately, the manager told me that she's not able to accommodate my other guests. Therefore, I had to take my business to another restaurant. I have to admit that I was very disappointed that I had to get up from the table and go to another restaurant. There was completely another table that could have been added to my table. However, Ms. Veloz wasn't very concerned about accommodating my other four guests. Therefore, I had to take my business some where else.in fact, we went to the Applebee's and was treated very nice. They honored all 11 of my guest within 10 minutes of arriving at the restaurant. Although, the Applebee's resturant was crowded, they still made arrangements for my party and provided us with excellent service.

I was referred to the Longhorn restaurant by one of my friends. I'm sad to say that it was one of my worst experience ever!!! I will not be going back to the Longhorn restaurant. Each employee that I came in contact with was not very friendly!!! I expected better service, but I was treated like very unfairly!!! In addition, l the manager wasn't very helpful at all!!!
