Misshape has sent many letters to drivers on the surcharge installment plan, or scam. If you get a notice reading surcharge default and suspension, look on the bottom of this letter and read the rules of this texas transportation code of statutory authority. Read it and see how many rules msb violated. Then check out the administrative code on txdps page. Can you say abuse of power and fraud? Where does this corporation come from? They are messing with texas dps. Are they insane? Why is this behavior unnotice by people at dps and why are they so surprised when they hear of complaints from people like me. The nice trooper that listened to my story assured me it would be reported and thanked me for my efforts! Really? Msb is violating you governing rules, not mine. Now back to the letter masquerading as a serious suspension notice complete with all the bells and whistle but something is wrong here, every word, date and amount are all false! There is not even a signatures of the letters author, prin ted or cursive! Wow. But get this according to this letter, my license had been suspended for 18 days, and in my mind i am thinking of " what would have happened and shutter about the consequences! If your letter is like mine, msb had my license suspended on nov 11 18 days before nthe day the notice was written. Nov 20th. The code says suspension notices are only send out if 1 st and 2nd notices are sent and only if 60 days have passed with no action ect. Texas dps code law is called authoritative code, but states that letters of suspension can only be sent by dps txdot agents not, a collection agency!!! I called txdps in austin and talked with a state trooper who heard my story and agreed to send over? Now i am easily amused and have a lot of time on myhands so one of my favorite pastimes is to shake up those that are evil! Especially when the operator on the other end is no other than that sweet lady with such a caring way! Yeah she is the only operator you talk with, does not have supervisor as she is perfectly capable in every way possible to spin, backpeddle, and spin everything she can, sometimes she does go overboard and make little sense. But its all entertainment right.? So i called her this am and was overwhelmed by her empathy and understanding. Actually she tells me to shut up and listen to her babble and i find myself nostalgic for that cold interrupted questions she initiates dob, address, ss# ect clearly designed to dehumanize all who are in the surcharge installment ferris wheel of 2-3 years. Of course she did not share my ideas. She told me that msb did have every right to suspend, with out any notices whatsoever, and i should be lucky i am not in more trouble because i deserve everything coming to me because of that violation 3 years ago. She also, remember talking with me feb, about the indemnity program, which i finally gave up on after i kept getting applications returned to me. Its just not worth it. Back to the best part of this phone call, i read ver batum sections of both codes very loud. Finally, i appealed to her. Mindset i told her nowhere in this code does it say msb has power to send out letters of suspension. Period does not give msb power to supsend drivers license, and when you dont pay a is bill, you get reported to a debt collection agency, period. Are they on acid here??? She acually believes they have every power to send notices with false status, dates, payments recieved, even if dps and the rest of the law says its wrong. I asked her if the purpose of msb was to collect debt (surcharge and use it for positive. Community based efforts or was this greed 101? Caller, are you there??? This call had no quality control message how unamerican! Too bad. It irritates me when i find out who the rats are and if i am in the middle, i get mad! But mad causes stress now, in closing, she finally admitted that i had paid and not skipped december but i got into this diligence last feb during my futile indemnity enrolment process. Wow i did not get that memo either! Process. Btw, i am ahead of schedule, due date is now jan 13, i am trying to find out more about msb, how they won the bid, and did they compete for this contract at all? I smell a rat in texas
