Unauthorized withdrawal

I live in Port Charlotte Florida, very close to where the catagory 4 hurricane Charley made landfall on August 13. As a result of hurricane Charley and the 3 other major hurricanes that hit us this summer money had become scarce.
I had previously made arraingments with ARS to withdraw money from my checking account on a monthly basis to pay off a debt. Due to the natural disasters I didn't have enough money to pay them for the month of August. I called ARS to ask them to cancel my check and explained why I couldn't pay. They said everything was fine, just call them back when I could make a payment.
I checked my account not long after and saw that ARS had withdrawn the money from my account. I contacted them and they advised me to call the bank and ask the charges to be reversed, which I did and the bank complied.
Life started going back to normal, until I received a phone call at work from a Mr. Bonner with ARS. He stated that the company would be filing a complaint against me because I had written them a bad check. I explained to Mr. Bonner that I had called and told them the funds would not be available due to the hardships that everyone has incurred after these hurricanes. He did not want to hear any of that. The company was surely pressing charges if I didn't pay by a certain date. I paid, but not the amount he wanted. He still calls and tries to throw his wieght around, hopefully I'll have this account settled soon and I won't ever have to deal with them again.
