Wanted to take my money desperately ripoff

I am a college student and while driving home from school I recieved a phone call from an unknown number. The person on the other line was female with a heavy accent. She began telling me how I had been approved for a government grant of a minimum of 8000 dollars. She then began telling me how I was going to recieve it in 140 to 180 days, and would be recieving a packet with information in a few days.

The thought of 8000 dollars was great because I'm in college and money is in low supply. However when she began to ask me about bank information and a mandatory 257$ processing fee, I hung up. When she called back I asked her a lot of questions, which she answered with ridiculous answers, she also mentioned that after I gave her my account number I would recieve a 1-800 number that I could call with any questions.

In the mean while I was at this site reading other reports, so I am glad to say that this site saved me from losing my money and possibly my college career.
