Imagine my surprise when I started receiving charge for $9.95 each month for a credit monitoring service I didn't even realize I had signed up for. I didn't catch it on my first month's statement but I caught it the next time around. I typed in the telephone number into yahoo and all these consumer complaintss came up. I called the company immediately and spoke with Gracie who was very defensive and noted that had I read the users agreement, I would have known about the charge. I told her that it was obviously not an isolated incident as there are two to three complaints a day against her company and a pending class-action law suit. I told her to cancel my membership immediately and she assured me it would be. We'll see. I wonder how a credit bureau owned company can get away with this fraudulent activity. Makes you wonder about the information on your credit report.
