Build credit quick scam takes advantage of people without credit

Liberty Group Services is a SCAM! Do not agree to anything over the phone, do not give them any information, do not listen to any recording. Hang up on them.

Before I found this website, here are a few things that tipped me off: They dont have and 800 number, you have to call long distance. The "agreement" I got in the mail had different information than what i was told over the phone. They convinced me to give them my bank account number over the phone. They dont have a website.

Here's how it works: You have a $2500 credit limit with a great rate (somewhere around 6-9%). You can use $1000 of it anywhere you want, or all of it in their "cataloge." They debit $300 from your bank account (you must give them the account number over the phone) to make sure you are able to pay the minimum payment should you max out your line of credit. They say they will give you 4 vouchers for $100 each with which to pay off your credit bill, so that it sounds like you actually make $100.

No credit card comes. No vouchers. When you decide you dont feel right about it, they charge you a $35 early termination fee because the recorded message you heard on the phone is a "contract" even though you didn't sign anything. You cancel and apparently the next day you are charged the $300.

They are very convincing on the phone, they reason you into giving out your bank account number, your date of birth, mother's maiden name, etc. Then when you call to yell at them they are calm as a summer's morning... They must be really used to hearing screaming people over the phone.

These people are crooks. If you feel stupid for giving out your information, it's okay. They want you to feel stupid so that you dont do anything to stop them... Do something to protect yourself or you will get played! I feel like an idiot for giving them all this information, but I closed my bank account so that they couldn't take any money from me. Now i am worried about identity theft. They have everything thing they could need.
