Ripoff Scam to get checking account numbe

Caller tries to convince me I have been selected to receive an $8,000. Government grant. (Laugh!) Selected from random drawing of those who pay Federal Taxes. Wants to know if I have legitimate checking account. When I told him he doesn't need to know that, he hangs up. But he keeps calling me at work. He called 3 times last week, and twice today. I've told him to stop calling me. But he continues. I know this has to be bogus, because folks go to grant writing courses, and spend hundreds to thousands of manhours composing and filling out Government Grant Applications - a few receive the grants.
