Telemarketing Rip-off!

Someone from this co. Called my cell and i missed the call. So i call back from my desk phone at work and young lady by the name of jessica answered. I told her i was returning a call from this co. And wanted to know why. She went into her sell pitch and letting me know that i had applied for credit with another credit card co and was denied. Which was true. And they were going to fund give me the credit card of my choice, visa or mastercard. Told me that i would have a $2,500.00 limit. She also told me that they dont run credit checks they base it on you banking reputation. At that point she ask for my routing and account #!!

In the meantime while she was trying to sell me on the credit card i was putting the name of the company in google. At that point the "rip off" logo came up and i advised the young lady of what came up under their web page. She got upset and said " well why did you call?" i kindly let her know that they called me. I went on to tell her what i was reading on the web site, looking for her to defend herself and she went on to say why did you call and hung up on me... End of call.

No matter how much i would love to have a $2,500.00 credit card limit i will never give out personal information over the phone. And for peace sake do research on the co. Before you sign or agree to anything regardless if in writing or verbale. If is worth it.
