Fraudulent unfair liars

To all of you Ameriquest lovers out there, I will respond with one question. How can you actually feel that this company has your best interest at heart? I (thank God) was saved by another lending company right before I was taken to the cleaners by this so called wonderful company.

My husband and I currently have a 6.4% interest rate, and when we wanted to refinance, I called Ameriquest. They told me the best they could do was 7.6% and that his credit score would not bring in a better rate than that from anyone. Well not so true Mr. Manager! In the process, after the Appraisal was already performed, I get a call from a better lending company. Supported by the fact that they offered an interest rate of 6.8%, and sent the good faith estimate to us with the exact same figures as what was discussed. Unlike Ameriquest who proposed 7.6% and sent an estimate of 9.75%...

To condence my horror story, I have yet to be refinanced, and it has been 3 weeks since my first appraisal was done. Wouldn't you know it came back exactly at the amount we needed to refinance and get cash back also.

Well when I decided to withdraw our application, since there was no way they could do better, a manager got on the phone and ran this other company in the ground. Talking about how he had never heard of them, and how well known Ameriquest was, blah blah blah..

Yet I don't seem to recall any rip-off pages written about the company who rescued me??? Anyway, I have yet to see this wonderful appraisal of mine, which valued my home about 30% higher than what it is actually worth. They won't let me buy it or see it. Which brings me to the present. A $100.00 later after finding a real Appraiser through this other company, I find out I can't even begin to refinance without more equity in my home.

SO SCREW Ameriquest and all of their wonderful employees trying to make their quota at the expense of someone else!!!

Trapping people into a house they can never get rid of is very unprofessional! My condolences to all who weren't as fortunate as my husband and me.
