Guardian Financial Benefits Service
Ripoff Credit Card Ordering Scam, Valley Cottage

Business & Finance

In February, I applied for a second chance credit card or a secured credit card. I company named Guardin Financial called me and offered a me a Master Card with a $2000 dollar limit. Because it was a secured card, I had to pay a fee of $249 dollars.

I authorized the company to withdraw the money from my checking account. A month later the funds were deducted. I waited two months from that date before I received a package in the mail. When I opened the package, it contained a benefits package that basically contained coupons I could mail off for.

THERE WAS NO CREDIT CARD! There was sheet of paper instructing me to send $40 more dollars to obtain a Master Card that I would have to prepay before I could use it. I called the company and attempted to return the package that did not contain the credit card I thought I paid the fee for. The female representative immediately became very rude when I called. Please be aware of this scam occuring to people already financially hurting.
