Sued by Capital One After Disputing Collection Notice

I received a notice from one of Capital One's collection agencies indicating I owe Cap One past debt. I responded in writing, as directed, to dispute the assertion. Cap One's attorneys then promptly sued me without an attempt to solve the problem. Now I'm stuck going to court this week. Apparently Capital One is motivated by greed rather than care for its customers. It's no wonder they have the lowest customer service rating of any credit card.
