Ripoff NSF Charges come and go Dallas Texas

I must admit those who say it is our own responsibilty to balance our check books are correct. I did exactly that. For the last few months I have refrained from using my checkbook and my debit card. I only use my account to cash my payroll check and even then I put twenty dollars in it just to keep it going.

This past week I have gone online every day and have found two NSF charges. I called the bank and asked them to explain to me my statement step by step and on both ocassions talking to two different reps when they got to the NSF charges they both said, "Oh well, I don't know why that's there." The money was immediately refunded to my account.

It seems kind of odd to me because I have had NSF charges before to my own fault and they defend those to death. But it is almost like they already know which ones are not legit before you do.

I encourage you to try the same method. Make sure you ending balance is zero with no transactions pending, do not use your debit card or checks and go online or use the automated line everyday to check your balance you will be sure to find an NSF charge. Don't forget if you don't have direct deposit they will charge you for the account and if the money is not there that is another NSF charge. Kind of tricky.

It is a shame that they conduct business this way. If you have to check your bank account everyday then what's the point in banking? If your bank is going to rip you off then who can you trust with your money? No one but you. Keep an eye on them and try this method. It has worked for me twice this week!
