Failed to notify me of how I was doing, failed to notify job had ended the day before after I drove 63 miles

I was recruited by Tanya Stewart at the Creve Coeur, MO office on 3/22 & assigned to US Bank in Earth City, MO. I told her I would only take the job if it were "temp to hire" and she assured me it was. My other co-worker who had also started with Modis on 3/15 was always receiving phone calls & emails from her recruiter telling her how she was doing, etc. I never received ONE phone call or emial from Tanya. Finally after my 90 day probationary period, I had to ask the supervisor at US Bank if I were to return or what was the situation & was told to continue coming in on a "day to day basis".

When I finally got ahold of Tanya, she had told me "it was her fault, we're suppose to keep you informed of the situation". I ended up working there till 8/9. During that time I asked both Modis and US Bank TWICE did you intend to make this position permanent and if so, what were my chances. Tanya and Modis had the nerve to tell me that inquiring about this position two times in 5 months was "excessive". Then on 8/8 while going through the file since I am the closing title coordinator for 19 processors, one file in particular which was scheduled to close that day, was incomplete.

There was a memo dated 7/15 telling the processor & loan officer they had the property in the wrong city, wrong county & therefore ALL the paperwork was incorrect. No way this loan was going to close that day. I observed the loan processor take it to the supervisor just as I was leaving for lunch. Not a word was said to me about my work. I show up the next day, I'm there for 2 hours before Tanya shows up at the bank location & apologizes saying I had been terminated THE DAY BEFORE & she failed to call me & inform me. When I asked why, she said it was "because your making too many errors".

Thats funny, the supervisor from that dept told me I was "an asset to the bank & need to be hired" & the processors all commented on how quickly I did their work. So within 24 hours I'm now making "too many errors". Plus just the week before they had taken another Modis employee out to lunch to inform her of her errors & that she needed to improve or would be replaced. If I was doing such a bad job, why wasn't I given the same courtesy as this employee? I was FIRED because the processor has worked for this supv for 15 yrs, is pregnant & she wanted to save Jamie's job, the loan officer's job & I was "expendable". I will never recommend Modis to ANYBODY.
