ATM Users Beware

I used their atm machine on a Saturday during regular busines hours. The machine malfunctioned and kept my card. Their policy is to only give back cards if you are a member of the bank; non-member cards are destroyed. So, even though they make millions off the service fee for non-members to use their atm's they cannot be bothered to provide responsive service. I went into the bank and spoke with a customer service rep and it would have been very easy to leave my phone number and she could have called me when they retrieved the card; I could have provided identification showing I owned the card and it could have been returned to me within a few days rather than having to wait the 10 days it takes my bank to send out a replacement. This a very unfriendly customer practice and policy for no good reason other than they cannot be bothered to provide the same level of service they provide to their member customers. I strongly advise folk to never use their atm machines and further caution against using this bank at all. No telling what other customer unfriendly practices in which they engage.
