Charged us $13,000.00 more than supposed to and because of this we cannot refinance because they cannot appraise at the high price Baytown

We tried to refinance our land and home at lower interest and also to set up escrow (because Oakwood told us they would set it up and did not.) We have found out from several realtors that they over charged us $13,000.00 more than they were supposed to. No one will appraise our house and land at the high price they ripped us off for. So what are we supposed to do? We have lived here 2 years, cabinets are crooked, we have had several water leaks, our front door has a nice gap between the door and frame so if we leave the hard door open all our cool air goes out the door.

I am not a rich person and that amount of money is a tremendous amount. I do not know who but somebody pocketed a lot of money from us. It is a sad thing when they are allowed to do people this way. I want them to pay me my $13,000.00 back and maybe we can refinance and also fix all of the things that are wrong with our home. I just had to call out a repair man for the air conditioner that was another $100.00. Why won't any one do something about this? What about all of us that are left with the rotten deal? Does no one care? Who can we contact to get something done about this? Do I need to get a lawyer? Would that do any good?
