Abitz Law Group
The Law Offices of Marcy E. Abitz, P.A. Fraudulent Law Firm stating they can get home loan remodified. Had to pay $1600. Up front fees. Then told they couldn't help due to new law since they were not in our state

After searching for a Law Firm that could assist us in a Home Modification. We came across Abitz Law Group and decided to use them to assist us in getting a remodification with our Lender... Bank of America. We looked on the BBB and they showed that they were legit. However, after sending them $1600. Up front, and several months of them telling us they were working on getting the modification (only when we called them, since they never called us). We were told that a new law had passed in January that because they were in Florida and we were in North Carolina, they could no longer help us with the remodification process. We spoke with Bank of America and they said they have never received any documents from Abitz Law Group. Abitz Law Group stated that they sent many documents and requests to Bank of America with no response, however, they could not send us any documentation proving that they sent Bank of America anything. Nor could they refund our $1600 up front fee. Can anyone Legit help us?
