Unsolicited fraudulent credit card application

We received an unsolicited credit card application from Credicorp with a $10,000 limit. We had to send $37 for the card.in the small print it says it has been sent to us because of favourable information from Trans Union the credit reporting Agency. I called. The agency have never supplied information about us to this company. I checked them out on the web and found your site.
We were suspicious anyway but this site proved invaluable.
We have avoided being scammed as, like some of the other people on the site, we were considering it to pay off smaller debts to other credit card agencies.
