Ripoff charged up front fees without saying they were going to like annual fees and other charges Atlanta

I recieved a visa card from aspire. The application said nothing about any charges except for the $20 start up fee I read all the paperwork to make sure. When I got the first bill from them I had a $300 limit of which they had taken out an annual fee up front and other fees that made no sense. After they did this I had a credit limit left of $50. I had used the card once which meant I had no credit left. They have been charging me ever since which has raised the balance over $800.

They would call every day asking for money wanting a check over the phone which I wouldn't do. They even called me at work asking for more money. I cut up the card and sent it back to them and they sent me a letter saying the account was closed would still be charging interest on the over amount. I work hard for a living and have a husband who is disabled. I explained to them that there never was anything said about these extra fees. The man said it was on the form when i read the form back to him word for word all he said was the lady told me when I opened the account. I told him she never said anything about the other charges. Then he said I would have to call another number to get it straighten out. But when I called the number all I got was a recording that all lines were busy and to hold. I held for 30 to 45 minutes without anyone answering. This happened several times then when I got someone they put me on hold again and hung up. These people need to be be put in jail.
