Ripoff Lebanon Missouri

I bought a brand new 2004 Ford Escape two weeks ago. Beautiful new car. We were all so proud. Sunday morning after church, we were sitting a stop light waiting for an oncoming truck to clear the stop light with a driver covered by Geico ran the stop light, hit the truck and pushed it along with his vehicle into our brand new car. I wasn't given the name of the driver of the vehicle that ran the light or his insurance information until the next day.

It was D. Ray Peterson from Lebanon, MO (if that is really where he was from - he had Arkansas tags on the vehicle and couldn't find the registration) I finally called and insisted on the name of the driver and his insurance and cried when I found out Geico was responsible. But I looked up their phone number and called. I was at work and was on the phone for over an hour and a half. I was given the name of Latonia Perkins as the adjuster. I called her number and of course she wasn't there. Seeing as it was already after 5:00P.M. Central time when I finally got off the phone with no results, I called her the next morning at 8:00 A.M. Central time. 9:00A.M. Her time.

I called three times on Tuesday, August 10 and left my telephone number at work. She never called me back. I finally called the number in the phone book again and talked to a Shana who told this Latonia Perkins had noted that she had tried to call me. I told her, I left her three voice messages that very day at various time, all three with the telephone number where I was at work. She never called me at work. Then when I got home, lo and behold here is the message from Latonia Perkins. So I called her back and left her another voice message "telling" her to call me at work the next day. Once again giving her the number where I could be reached. Guess what, she didn't call. Don't give me that crap that they return the phone calls. Bull.

Now as for the claim and payment. There will never be an adequate settlement on this claim, because they won't replace my brand new car and no amount of body work will make it new again. I didn't do anything wrong. My family was in that car. We have all been traumatized by this ordeal and everyday just makes it worse. I can't allow my child to ride in that car, it's unsafe. He worries about being in a vehicle. He worries about other cars hitting us. I don't consider this an accident. This was intentional. The man admitted he did not see that light, but then lied on the police report. I heard him tell the officer he did not see the light. Now all of a sudden, it was a possible problem with his brakes.

I was sitting still, I did nothing wrong. Where is Geico to get this taken care of. They sure aren't wanting any good PR from Missouri. And I am taking every opportunity to tell everyone I know what kind of insurance company they are. Lebanon, Missouri is the used car capital of the world, but Geico doesn't have an office there. Do you wonder why. Cause nobody want their cheap insurance. Nobody wants to spend hours on the phone to accomplish nothing.

I want my new car back, Now!!!
