Not paying Claim

Back on 12/25/08, some teenagers ran the red light and got us into an accident. When the police came, since they apologized several times and it was Christmas, I asked them not to write a ticket as long as their insurance pays for the damage. Police report said they were at fault. I contacted Geico (that is also our insurance) and they told me that the other driver is saying they didn't cross the avenue with the red light on! Since the police report said they were at fault, I didn't worry much!

Now Geico says they are not paying because they didn't get a ticket! And the police report doesn't make a difference. They said that their inspector decided that the other driver was not at fault and that's what they go by! Great! Why did I even bothered in calling the police then?!

Anyway, Geico gets to choose the most convenient version for them!
That is a mayor Ripoff!
