Forced to cover my son-who is not living with me! - auto policy

On May 3 I was informed by customer service that I am in order to remove Justin Greenlaw from my automobile policy that I would need to supply proof of his new residency. This was faxed immediately and I was told that I would receive a call back from your customer service group. I never did receive a phone call. I called today and again to my disappointment was told that the underwriters determined that although Justin does not live in my home they will not remove him from the policy.

Unfortunately, your service has not performed well as the service was inadequate for more than one reason. Justin is not covered by another plan and this is the reason given to me that your company will not remove him from this policy. His new residency is with his father who does not have insurance coverage for his own automobile as it is not required in our state of New Hampshire to have insurance for an automobile. The vehicle in question is my husband%u2019s vehicle-as stated on the loan. I am disappointed that your service was not performed to the high level of commitment that you advertised and used to promote obtaining new customers. The fact that Justin must have insurance even if he moves out of my home was not disclosed clearly or was misrepresented in this case.

To resolve the problem, I would appreciate your reversal of this decision. I look forward to your reply and a resolution to my problem and will wait until the end of this week before seeking help from a consumer protection agency or the Better Business Bureau.
